Cottage Pie

Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 30 min
Serves 4



  • 600g of ground beef
  • 600g of potatoes
  • 150ml of milk
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil




Mashed potato:

Peel the potatoes and then put them in a pot to boil (start cooking in cold water)
Check that they are cooked by inserting a knife into the potatoes
Heat the milk
Drain the potatoes
Using a masher, mash the potatoes then slowly add the milk
Season with salt and pepper
In a frying pan with a drop of olive oil, sauté the diced onions, then add the minced garlic
Next, add the ground beef Sauté the ground beef well
In a frying pan, add a layer of mashed potato
Then add the meat stuffing
Next, add another layer of mashed potato
Cook in a 180°C oven for 10 to 15 minutes
