Gourmet Burger

  • 6 burger buns
  • 6 fresh beef patties
  • 12 cheddar slices
  • 12 slices of thick-cut bacon (pork belly)
  • 3 sliced tomatoes
  • 6 romaine lettuce leaves
  • Onion(s) sliced into 18 rings
  • Ketchup
  • Salt/pepper



Heat the frying pan to 2/3 of the maximum power of your stove, and test the heat using the 'water drop' technique.

Brown the thick-cut bacon and place on paper towel.

Season the patties and cook in the pan according to taste.

Assembly: Put ketchup on the bottom half of the bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, a patty, cheddar, sliced onion, grilled bacon and cover with the top bun.

You can put the burgers in the oven for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
