Juicy and tender steakhouse burger

Serves 4



  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 lb 12 oz ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 8 slices cheddar
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 pickles
  • 8 slices bacon
  • ½ cup fried onions
  • Salt/pepper


Peel and chop the onion. Wash the lettuce. Slice the tomato and pickles.

Season the beef and form 4 large patties.

Heat the CRISTEL® stainless steel frying pan to 2/3 of the maximum power of your source of heat. Test the heat using the 'water drop' technique and brown the patties on both sides.

Once cooked, grill the bacon in the pan.

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Cut the buns down the middle. Place a leaf of lettuce on the bottom half of the bun, followed by two slices of tomato, onion, pickle slices, one slice of cheddar, one burger patty, two slices of bacon, another slice of cheddar, fried onions, and finally the top half of the bun.

Cook in the oven for one minute and serve immediately
