Cooking time: 10 min
Serves 8

  • 4 lb potatoes
  • 1 lb Morbier cheese
  • 2 finely sliced onions
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seed oil
  • 3 fl oz white wine from Jura
  • 6 fl oz sour cream
  • 7 oz smoked bacon bits
  • Salt & pepper

Peel and slice the potatoes. Steam for 10 minutes and set aside.

Heat the sauté pan to 2/3 of the maximum power of your stove and add the oil, then the onions.

Sweat the onions for 5 minutes, then add the bacon bits, and cook for another 5 minutes.

Pour the white wine and wait 30 seconds for the alcohol to evaporate, then add the potatoes and cream.

Stir and season, then turn off the heat.

Remove the Morbier cheese’s crust and slice it, then place on top of the potatoes.

Bake for 45 minutes in an oven pre-heated at 355°F.
