Cottage Pie


  • 600g of ground beef
  • 600g of potatoes
  • 150ml of milk
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil


Mashed potato:

  1. Peel the potatoes and then put them in a pot to boil (start cooking in cold water)
  2. Check that they are cooked by inserting a knife into the potatoes
  3. Heat the milk
  4. Drain the potatoes
  5. Using a masher, mash the potatoes then slowly add the milk
  6. Season with salt and pepper


  1. In a frying pan with a drop of olive oil, sauté the diced onions, then add the minced garlic
  2. Next, add the ground beef Sauté the ground beef well
  3. In a frying pan, add a layer of mashed potato
  4. Then add the meat stuffing
  5. Next, add another layer of mashed potato
  6. Cook in a 180°C oven for 10 to 15 minutes
