Cream cheese and berry fritters


  • 2 cups flour
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 oz sugar
  • 4 oz baking powder
  • 8 oz olive oil.
  • 5 oz red berries
  • 35 fl oz sunflower oil


1 Mix together the sugar, flour and baking powder in a bowl.

2 Make a well in the center and add the eggs, the cream cheese, olive oil and mix until you have a smooth batter.

3 Gently fold in the berries.

4 Heat the oil in the sauté pan over medium heat to 340°F, and check the temperature with a thermometer.

5 Using two tablespoons, form balls with the batter and drop them into the oil.

6 Cook for 3 to 4 minutes and drain on kitchen paper.


Tip: Serve your fritters with a chocolate sauce by melting 3.5 oz chocolate with 1 oz of milk in a saucepan.
