Crepe nests with chocolate, clementine, mango and kiwi

Ingredients

For the crepes:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 8 oz sugar
  • 1 oz butter
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 4 eggs

For the chocolate sauce:

  • 5 oz chocolate
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 7 fl oz heavy cream
  • 1 oz sugar

Everything else:

  • 2 kiwis
  • 1 mango
  • 2 clementines

Recipe

For the crepes:

1 Mix together the flour, sugar, eggs, milk and melted butter in a bowl.

2 Heat the crepe pan to 2/3 of the maximum power of your stove then add a bit of oil.

3 Continue cooking crepes until you have used up all the batter.

 

For the chocolate sauce:

4 Melt the chocolate in a saucepan on low heat, then add the butter, sugar, milk (little by little) and cream.

5 Bring up the heat to 2/3 of the maximum power of your stove and stir until the it begins to simmer, then turn off the heat.

 

Everything else:

6 Peel and dice the fruit.

7 Cut the crepes into large strips then make a “nest” in the plate and add the fruit and chocolate sauce.

 

Tip: You can crumble some meringue on top to give it some crunch.
