Crispy goat's cheese and fig nests
- 4 filo pastry sheets
- 14 oz fresh goat's cheese
- 4 oz chopped preserved lemon
- 4 fresh or frozen figs
- 7 oz walnuts
- 1 oz melted butter
- 1 tsp. honey
1/ In a bowl, combine the goat's cheese, preserved lemon, honey and season.
2/ Brush the filo pastry sheets with melted butter and place them inside mini Dutch ovens.
3/ Divide the cheese mix inside the nests and add the quartered figs and walnuts.
Preheat the oven to 390°F
4/ Cook for 15 min and serve with a salad.
Tip: You can replace the figs with chorizo or ham!
