Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C).
1 Peel and wash potatoes.
2 Cut the potatoes into 0.2 inch slices or thinner and place in a large bowl.
3 Add milk, cream, garlic, nutmeg, salt and mix for 2 minutes until the starch has been extracted from the potatoes and they are well-seasoned.
4 Pour into the Cristel® sauté pan and bake in the oven for 1 hour after removing the handles.
5 Serve directly in the baking dish
