WHAT IS A DEEP FRYINGPAN AND WHY DO YOU NEED ONE?
The CRISTEL® cookware collections are all about choices. We give you many options so that you can customize your cookware collection to fit the way you cook.
One item that needs some explanation is our series of Deep Fryingpans. These pans differ from our regular Fryingpan line given the depth of the pans. While our regular Fryingpans have a depth of about 2 inches, our Deep Fryingpans are approximately 3 inches deep. They are designed to be something between our true French style Sauté pans and a regular Fryingpan. So, if you like to sauté meats and fishes and finish with a sauce the deeper draw reduces splashing. The soft curved radius of these pans allows easy use with a whisk to make them very useful.

Our Deep Fryingpans are available in both the Mutine range (with a polished exterior) and the Strate range (with a brushed exterior). They are available in both uncoated and non-stick versions in two useful sizes 9.5 inches and 11 inches.
