INGREDIENTS
- 1 shortcrust pastry dough
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. milk
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. heavy cream
- 6 cups peeled pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- 5/8 cup sugar
- ¼ cup dark chocolate
- 1+ ½ tbsp. butter
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Cut the pumpkin into large cubes.
Heat the CRISTEL® frying pan on medium heat, add the butter and then the diced pumpkin.
Cover and cook for 20 minutes, then remove cover and cook another 10 minutes until the pumpkin is dry.
Store cooked pumpkin in a bowl, then crush it with a masher and add eggs, sugar, milk and cream.
Spread out the dough in a clean pan and pour the preparation.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
Grate chocolate and sprinkle over the pie immediately before serving!
