Halloween Pumpkin Pie

- 1 shortcrust pastry dough
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. milk
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. heavy cream
- 6 cups peeled pumpkin
- 3 eggs
- 5/8 cup sugar
- ¼ cup dark chocolate
- 1+ ½ tbsp. butter
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
1/ Cut the pumpkin into large cubes.
2/ Heat the CRISTEL frying pan on medium heat, add the butter and then the diced pumpkin.
3/ Cover and cook for 20 minutes, then remove cover and cook another 10 minutes until the pumpkin is dry.
4/ Store cooked pumpkin in a bowl, then crush it with a masher and add eggs, sugar, milk and cream.
5/ Spread out the dough in a clean pan and pour the preparation.
6/ Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
Grate chocolate and sprinkle over the pie immediately before serving!
